In a perfect balance between comedy and realism, the stories of four families come to life. Luigi and Gemma (Emilio Solfrizzi and Valentina Carnelutti) have what can be described as a “relay family”, since he has worked all of his life and now has to take care of his three daughters for the first time so that Gemma, his partner, can have more time for herself. Marco and Anna (Filippo Nigro and Giulia Bevilacqua) have what can be described as an “upside-down family”: after setting aside his ambitions in order to become a full-time “househusband”,he now starts enjoying his job again, throwing the whole family off balance. Francesco and Tommaso (Fabio Troiano and Giulio Forges Davanzati) instead, have what can be described as a “de facto family”, made up of a gay couple struggling to raise their niece and dealing with Tina (Giuliana De Sio), a very intrusive mother-in-law. Finally, there is the “dream family”, that of Jacopo and Elena (Carmine Recano and Martina Stella), which is an ironic way to define it since the couple is separated and dealing with child custody issues.

This “dramedy” TV series, consisting of ten 90-minute episodes and directed by Francesco Pavolini and Vincenzo Terracciano, tells the story of four full-time dads and of the relationships in their families, in which traditional roles have been drastically reversed.
